Nanny Requirements:
The Gold Standard represents professional, outgoing, reliable, trained, and trusted nannies. We provide our nannies with amazing benefits and exclusive opportunities to learn, grow and further their career. We are looking for nannies who have a passion and drive to work with children. To be their role-model, nurturer, educator, encourage, and so much more! Nannies wear many coats and play an important role in children's lives. You will not be 'just' a nanny. You will be 'the' Nanny.
Please look over our requirements below to be eligible to apply.
Must have 2 + years of Professional Childcare Experience (such as a Professional Nanny (Newborn Specialist, Share Nanny, etc.) in a private home, Pre-K-12 Teacher or a Therapist for children with Special Needs).
A minimum of 3 outstanding Childcare References
Ability to make a one year commitment - unless you are applying for a temporary position
High School Diploma or 18+ years old (A 4 -Year College Degree preferred with some families)
CPR/First Aid Certification (willing to complete and/or renew at own expense)
Willing to sign The Gold Standard Distracted Driving Agreement
Clean driving record
Reliable vehicle with current Registration and Insurance
U.S. Drivers license and Passport Holder (willing to travel)
Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing).
Willing to go through a background check with a clean criminal record
Non-Smoker
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Favorable But Not Required:
These will help your Nanny Profile stand out to families.
Multilingual (Spanish, French, ASL, or another second language)
COVID and Flu vaccinations
Willing to show proof of immunization records (TDAP)-Newborn Care
Swimming certification or reliable swimmer
4-Year College Degree or any related degree in Childhood Education
Free Trauma Training Course through our agency.
