Long-Term, Full-Time Nanny/Family Assistant needed for a 20 month old boy in Omaha, NE! Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 4PM. Family Guarantees 30-40 hours per week. Starting rate is $18-24/hour (DOE). They want a nanny who is flexible, goes with the flow, reliable, caring, patient, kind, loves kids, and has a sense of humor. Someone who fosters a supportive and nurturing environment that encourages the child's growth and well-being! If you’re someone who loves kids, enjoys a bit of travel, and doesn’t mind pitching in around the house, we want to meet you!

A little bit about the family:

• This is a family of 5. They have 2 other children who are 8 and 3 years old who will be in school while the nanny cares for 20 month old son. The family loves going to the zoo, park and pool together. 

• Their youngest son is 20 months old (nannies main responsibility) who has special needs, oxygen and requires a G Tube. So someone who is comfortable with learning or already knows how to use a G tube would be required. He does have allergies which are cats, dairy and gluten. He can only crawl (cannot talk or walk yet). He loves the pool, walks and being able to play!

• Parents' Parenting Style: is gentle, not permissive, parenting style.

• Screen Time Rules: The child does not do well if he watches TV a lot. But the family is comfortable with SOME screen time. They ultimately want someone to play with their son, engage in age-appropriate activities and hang out with him.

Nannies Responsibilities with the child include:

• Preparing meals/bottles and feeding the children (G Tube)

• Picking up child-related messes

• Bathing

• Playing indoors

• Playing outdoors in yard/park

• Organizing children's toys

• Reading to/with children

Nannies Other Responsibilities

• Loading/unloading dishwasher

• Wiping down counters and tabletops

• Keeping common areas clean

• Preparing easy family meals

​

Nanny Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children who have special medical needs is preferred.

• Strong observational and communication skills to effectively interact with the child and relay information to parents.

• Basic First aid and CPR certification

• Driver's License and Clean Driving Record.

• Background Check from both the state and agency.

​

Compensation:

• Starting Pay: $18-24/hr (DOE and Room To Grow)

• Weekly flexible hours: 30-40

• Gas Reimbursement (during work hours while transporting their son)

• 5 days PTO (after working a consecutive of 90 days)

• 3 Sick days (after working a consecutive of 60 days)

• W-2 Status & Possible Health Coverage 

• Paid Holidays 

• All travel expenses and accommodations are paid for. 

• Quarterly Check-In’s/Performance Reviews and Annual Raises!
