Part-Time, Long-Term Nanny/Household Manager needed for 2 bright children (ages 3 and 5) in Murfreesboro, TN! Schedule Family is open to working with a nanny on scheduled days and time (example: M,T,W ~3:30-8:30 pm). The Family is flexible and willing to build a schedule! Family Guarantees 15 hours per week, but are open to more hours for the right fit. Starting rate is $20-25/hour. The family wants the nanny to feel valued, comfortable and grow with the family for years to come!

They want a nanny who they can trust, are imaginative, encouraging, helpful, playful, and fun loving. Someone who fosters a supportive and nurturing environment that encourages the child's emotional well-being, and self-expression! Someone who is also able to run in the role as a Household Manager in the beginning of the work day, then focus on the kids once they are picked up. A little bit about the family:

• The family just moved to Tennessee and are looking to build their support system. They need help keeping up with everything! They would love help getting life back in order and on track. The mother is a HR Supplier Manager and the father is an Engineering Manager. Family loves to be active by going to the Zoo, library, science museum, parks, etc! Their children love to have imaginative play time, play on the piano, do Taekwondo, bounce on the trampoline, etc. The parents' parenting style is NO spanking the kids. They strongly discourage whining and encourage the children to ask for things politely. They use redirection for undesirable behaviors and encourage being respectful and compassionate.

This family is looking for someone who is:

Nannies Responsibilities with the children include: 

• Provide attentive care, ensuring children's safety and well-being at all times.

• Preparing meals and feeding the children

• Picking up child-related messes

• Playing indoors

• Playing outdoors in yard/park

• Organizing children's toys

• Bathing

• Bedtime routine

• Driving home from school

• Taking to after school activities (i.e. Piano or Taekwondo)

 

Household Manager Responsibilities:

• Children's laundry

• Household laundry (towels, sheets, etc.

• Loading/unloading dishwasher

• Wiping down counters and tabletops

• Keeping common areas clean

• Tidying, organizing, and decluttering

• Scheduling appointments when needed

• Family meal planning / grocery shopping / meal prep

 

Optional House Cleaner Responsibilities (if wanting additional hours):

• Vacuuming upholstery and carpet.

• Vacuuming and mopping hard floors.

• Dusting tables, chairs, and surfaces

• Cleaning the bathrooms such as the mirrors, toilets, showers and baths

• Scrubbing and sanitizing kitchen sink, counter tops, and appliances

• Cleaning the inside of windows

• Cleaning trim work, baseboards, doors, picture frames, light fixtures, etc.

 

Nanny Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children and as a House Manager 

• Willing to pass Background Check

• CPR Certified 

 

At Least a 1 Year Commitment is Required

 

Compensation:

• Starting Pay : $20-25/hr (dependent upon experience)

• Weekly guaranteed hours - 15

• Parents will provide the option of a car to transport to drive or pick up the child.

• Gas Reimbursement if the nanny uses their own car during working hours.

• 5 PTO/Sick Days (after working a consecutive of 60 days)

• Holiday’s Off

• Annual/Yearly performance reviews and Annual Raises!
